ARBY'S MARIO MAKER LEVEL

For the release of Nintendo’s Mario Maker 2, Arby’s knew we had to do something really fun. So, I took it upon myself to singlehandedly build an Arby’s-infused Mario Maker level, filled with iconic Arby’s designs and easter eggs. The game was a hit, with tons of streamers rushing to play the level and most decrying it as “really hard” but also “a lot of fun.” The level is no longer playable due to legal concerns––but its memory lives on in a ton of YouTube playthroughs and press.

HOW IT PERFORMED

The level received nearly 1 million impressions across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter and received 330 earned mentions with over 1 million potential impressions. Popular streamer ryukahr tweeted about the Arby’s level and posted a YouTube video that amassed 87K views in 5 hours. We saw multiple people post YouTube videos, Twitch streams, and Twitter videos of them playing the level. Sentiment-wise, we saw 89.7% of the conversation with favorable sentiment, and 10.3% was negative.

A caveat about the negative sentiment: most negative chatter was that the level was really difficult. Lol.
